Wow, watching that video reminds me of how we have to be careful of the kind of things we say around kids. It also reminds me of how these kids will be to 9/11 what JFK was to me: they weren't alive and can only go based upon the stories of others. They'll never have the emotional response that we do to 9/11 and as a result, we shouldn't indoctrinate in them hate because then it will spill over into their adulthood.

I mean there is nothing wrong with being happy about his death, but for those kids, they don't even understand why they should be happy and only know what their parents tell them. Although it is great to see that some of them feel conflicted and have a grasp on hypocrisy when it comes to the whole death thing (even I didn't take time to think that through). Maybe they understand this a bit more than us adults.

But it does make me wonder why 9/11 hasn't been taught in school yet...although when I was in high school a couple years back (2004-2008) we were lucky just to get to WWII and it wasn't until college that I actually had a class that even talked about Vietnam. So we'd probably have to overhaul the whole system. I want to be a history teacher and teaching that subject is probably going to be hard and controversial because you know their is going to be some patsy who believes in conspiracy theories..
